My teaching style can be described sometimes as "hands off." I prefer for the students to try a task or problem first and then be critiqued on how to correctly perform it.
Tutoring was first introduced to me while in highschool, where I tutored other students on state testing. I began tutoring in 2006 working with afterschool programs in Waco TX. There I worked with Communities in Schools, a non profit organization located across the United States. I tutored and worked with afterschool till 2010. My comments on tutoring Elementary Science : I have taught many different topics and themes of elementary Science during my many years orf teaching elementary classes. I especially enjoy teaching this subject in the primary grades.

As I graduated from college with my California State Teaching Credential,I was able to teach 2nd grade for the Los Angeles City School District for three years. During that time I sought to gain as much experience and expertise as possible to prepare me for teaching in a school for missionary children overseas. I studied Spanish intensively for a year in Mexico preparing me to work in Santiago, Chile where I taught first and second grade for almost 40 years.
