A Little Bit About Me...

I have recently graduated from UCLA in June with a Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering. I have been tutoring my peers and students younger than me throughout my entire high school and college education, mostly in subjects related to math and science. I find working with kids and young adults very fulfilling, and I am looking to tutor more this summer because I would like to use my education to help students younger than me excel in their academics. It truly depends on the student and the subject. I try to adapt my teaching style to what the student needs. If one approach is not working, then we can work together to find an approach that does. I believe that it is important for the student to be able to relate to the teacher and it is the teachers job to create that connection.
Over the past 15 years I have had variety of different teaching experiences. I taught literature as a TA at UC Santa Barbara while studying for my Masters.
