I like to find out what my students are interested in - I will make the subject matter approachable by relating it to the student's interests!
I've been helping people understand material for as long as I can remember! I am always more proud of myself for teaching material to others than I am learning it myself! I've been a teaching assistant for computer science for multiple semesters, volunteer at Girls Inc assisting with tech courses for middle schoolers, have done science demos to classrooms of elementary kids, and tutored for multiple computer science courses. I am a fan of teaching people who are eager and willing to learn. If a person actually wants to learn, then the trick is merely to be patient, build up a persons confidence, and try as many angles as possible until you find the right one that clicks with how they best learn and are able to understand. Fundamental to the learning process however is in having a student actually do for themselves, rather than merely watch someone else, and work through the steps in a supportive environment. I also believe that people learn more from their mistakes than from their successes.

I had full scholarship for both my BS in Computer Science and MS in Data Communications in two of the best colleges in the world. I thus have very deep understanding of Maths Physics and Chemistry.
