I have excelled in mathematics going all the way back to elementary school. Studied general mathematics in college. I am a huge advocate of learning 'why' something happens vs 'how' it happens. In mathematics, anyone can learn a formula, an expression, or an equation if they look at it enough times, but they would not know how to apply it in real life situations. However, if a students learns the application of the formula and how it works, bigger chances they will remember it or can derive it when recalling the information. Learning the 'why' WILL lead to learning the 'how'

I graduated high school in 2008. I then attended West Ga Tech., for over a year. I majored in technical communications and took numerous computer classes. I love computers and Math. I have tutored children in mathematics from the ages 6-15. I was also asked by one of my professors to begin a tutoring session for a pre-calculus/trigonometry course that I was enrolled in. At that time I was scheduling tutor sessions with college students to obtain the proper study habits for polynomial expressions, quadratic equations , and exponential functions.
