The Achievement Centers, our after school tutorial/diagnostic clinic and before and after school care, is available for all ages and subjects. Tutoring and diagnostic testing is available after school, evenings (Monday – Friday) and Saturday mornings. The clinic is available year-round. Our testing clinician and school psychologist offer a Psychoeducational Evaluation to all new students. The testing is scheduled for two three hour sessions on separate days during after school hours. The evaluation consist of various test measuring a student’s cognitive abilities, processing skills, IQ, and academic levels. The evaluation will determine a student’s strengths and weaknesses, as well as how they think, reason and process information. A conference will be held with the family and/or the student. I am a graduate accounting student at NIU, emphasizing in the study of taxation. My undergraduate accounting degree is also from NIU. I am currently studying for the CPA exam. I had spent most of my professional career with the Follett Higher Education Group and sincerely enjoyed working in this academic environment. In my role as Media Manager, I created and implemented media plans for numerous college bookstores across the US and in Canada. As part of an Integrated Marketing team, I worked closely with the directors of various departments, as well as store and regional managers in the field, to develop effective and cost-efficient promotions for the bookstores. To continue developing my leadership skills, I joined Toastmasters International. For the past year I had been the VP of Membership of the Oak Brook Speakers club.
