My comments on tutoring ADD/ADHD : Teaching experience with ADD/ADHD and autistic children

I have worked previously as an au pair, summer camp counselor (Children's Arts Camp, Theater Pre-Orientation), and reading tutor. I have experience teaching children with various levels of autism and learning disorders. While my primary experience has been with performance arts such as dance, theater, and public speaking, I am also experienced in reading, composition, and creative writing. A Little Bit About Me...

I believe that students best learn from doing. My role as a tutor is not just to provide answers, but to facilitate and encourage learning. Teaching is not something I had initially aspired to but found I am a teacher and motivator by nature. I love the challenge of figuring what pieces, educational, each student is missing and helping them fill the their gaps to reach the next level and have things come together for them.
