I have a laid back "learn at your own pace" approach in my piano class & I teach everything from Rock to Classical. For beginner students who are children 7 years of age or younger I like to use Bastein Piano for the Young Beginner: Primer A. For beginner children 8 years of age or older I like to use Bastien Piano Basics Primer Level. For Beginner adult students I like to use Bastein Adult Piano Book One. A Little Bit About Me...

Mike's Guitar Studio is based on the belief that the students needs are of the utmost importance. The Studio is committed to meeting those needs. As a result, a high percentage of our business is from repeat customers and referrals. Lessons are catered towards what the student wants to learn. There is no one method that works for each student. Each student has different ways of learning, we recognize this and apply it to our teaching policy. The Lessons should be a fun and positive experience as the student progresses on his or her instrument. The primary instructor/ owner, Mike Benninger, has a B.M. in music performance from Keene State College and a M.M. in music performance from the Yale School of Music. Mike's Guitar Studio is located in New Windsor in Mike's Home Recording/Music studio. Recording can be an added tool for recording lessons, songs, pieces, and ideas.
