It takes two to tutor...and tango!
I am quite flexible. I think every person learns differently and no singular method should be applied to when it comes to tutoring; this is not an assembly line. I would take things on a case by case basis and adapt as needed, ensuring the student is getting the best possible help that I can offer him or her.
I am an English major at the University of South Carolina Beaufort in my final semester of study and will be graduating in December with a BA and a concentration in writing. Though I have never formally been a tutor, I have always been the person that my friends have gone to for help with composing papers, interpreting and analyzing passages of literature, and general study skills for how to improve their writing and/or reading abilities.
