A Little Bit About Me...

During my undergraduate, I had multiple field studies in middle and high school classes. I also had to tutor elementary students through my college for certain reading classes. During my last semester, I filled a permanent substitute position for 7th grade intensive reading. In the 2022-2023 school year, I taught STEM language arts for 6th, 7th, and 8th grade.
My teaching style focuses on modeled and guided discussions so that students can talk through their understanding so I can remediate and reteach to ensure that they are learning and they find confidence in their learning.

Also, I was the Editor-in- Chief of the monthly bulletin published by the Associated Public Safety Communications Officers which was headquartered in New Smyrna Beach, FL. I also acted in this capacity for a cultural magazine called "Flair" for a two year period while residing in Vienna, Austria. For each of these publications I wrote original articles, solicited and proofread the submissions of free lance authors and worked in close coordination with professional writers.

Accomplished English/ESOL/Russian Tutor
