My teaching style is a combination of visual, and kinesthetic. Most of the students I have worked with in the past who are learning disabled learn best by seeing and doing( hands-on ) It works best for these students if they are able to see the work being presented and then try it themselves. In reading, I tend to like to have the student read a small section of the paragraph and describe a few things that stuck out in their mind. Making Learning Fun...That's What It's ALL About

I have 19 years of experience teaching in an elementary/middle school in DeSoto County MS. I have taught all of the subjects, but the last few years I taught elementary math. I am currently substitute teaching in Shelby County TN municipal schools and in Olive Branch, MS for DeSoto County Schools. A Little Bit About Me...

I have discovered that every students is capable of achieving greatness if someone will take the time and effort to learn their learning style. I pride myself in being able to break things down to the most basic levels if necessary in order to reach a student.
