i have 4 years of experience tutoring students in elementary math and english. i have worked with ages of 3 to 14. i have tutored student from private to public schools. i have an understanding of what is aspected of the students and base my tutoring that way. my goal is not only help my students but also make them independent.

My method of mathematical and scientific instruction is based off the Polya style of teaching where the instructor guides their students by questions and reviewing the known information. Thus the student's questions drive the student towards the answer desired. I find great personal reward when working with students. After explaining information and working on helping a student understand the material there's sometimes that moment when you can watch the student go from not knowing what's going on to sudden understanding.
