As a Masters level teacher I was very much driven to achieve a level of excellence in my teaching methodologies. I have earned a BS in Education and a Master of Arts in Education with a Supervision Endorsement, which enabled me to gain understanding in many areas of sequential learning for elementary children. During my 11 years as a public school educator I took more courses in language, inquiry-based learning, and hands on science strategies.

A Little Bit About Me...

I have taught grades first through sixth in Phoenix, Oregon and in Redmond, Oregon. I taught in two magnet programs, one was with an emphasis on early childhood best practices with a focus on literature, writing, and creative projects. The other was with intermediate grades using Mini Society, a program incorporating economics. I also was an instructor for the Home School Program through the High Desert Education Service District. I was the facilitator for Talented and Gifted Programs in Redmond School District for many years.
