Online Math Tutor

I only teach online on an hourly basis. When I teach I don't just answer the questions my students ask of me rather let them understand it for themselves. Also, I encourage them to think and analyze too so that I would know where they are weak. I also develop their interest in learning the subject . That being said, I make learning fun and appealing.
I am a graduate of BS Mathematics and currently pursuing my master's degree. I have also been a lecturer for a year right after graduating. My unique teaching method is a combination of "Discovery" method when uniquely combined with the techniques of "Positive Reinforcement". This method of teaching mathematics is the same mode of instruction that was practiced by Socrates -"Socratic teaching"- and has an additional characteristic -"Positive Reinforcement"- that was proposed by the French philosopher Piaget. My comments on tutoring Calculus I : I have taken and passed both Calculus 1 and Calculus 2. After taking Calculus 2 I feel very confident in my skills with Calculus 1.

I feel that positive reinforcement and patience are two very valuable traits when it comes to teaching. I work hard to ensure that I demonstrate these traits when working with my students.
I just recently graduated California State University with a degree in Liberal Studies. Within this degree I chose to emphasize on mathematics because I want to become a high school math teacher. I have taken every course from Algebra-Intermediate Calculus. I am highly experienced in Algebra 1 and Geometry. I have been working at a probation school for a year and a half with at risk middle school and high school students. One of my many obligations is to help my students in math.
