My teaching style is one of excitement and enthusiasm. I am passionate about the material I teach, and try to convey this excitement to my students without being annoying and over enthused. In the fields of physics and mathematics, I prefer to use analogies and easy to understand examples to help students learn specific principles and to help show them the big picture into which their hard work fits. I am a doctor of philosophy from a top ten university, Emory. I have fifteen years teaching experience from grades K through college undergraduates. One of my two required doctoral languages was Latin, which I have taught full-time in public and private high school settings for several years. I have also taught philosophy, English grammar, mathematics, AP history, AP government and welding. Incidentally, I also have extensive trades teaching and work experience. I have extremely strong writing and verbal skills. I am a classically educationed man, deeply learned in the great literary and philosophical works of the West, including the Bible.
