I don't taking a long time to teach a student how to approach a single problem or concept and foster their understanding of the material so that they will understand how to approach the problem on their own. Through experience and research, I have developed a tutoring style that has helped countless students achieve unmeasured success. My students usually respond very well to my standard explanation of the procedure for solving algebra equations, as well as other math concepts, such as logarithms, trigonometry, and derivatives. As a chemist for almost ten years at the labs in Oak Ridge, TN and 12 years of teaching experience in TN and MS, I am highly qualified to tutor chemistry.
