My comments on tutoring ADD/ADHD : I believe my volunteer work with children and my advanced degree in psychology are advantageous for assisting individuals with ADD and ADHD.

I have tutored children off and on since I was in high school. More recently, my time has been spent volunteering with The Giving Tree, where I tutored inner-city children after school and helped organize activities (museums, zoo, etc.) on the weekends. I am currently in the final stages of my dissertation for a doctorate in psychology, so I am always actively learning, too. My aspirations are to become a professor in higher education upon acquiring my Ph.D..
I think teaching styles should differ based on the preferred learning style of the student. The teaching style should play on the strengths and preferences of that particular student. My teaching philosophy is first to have the knowledge for the subjects. Then, I think you need to understand the youth learning styles and to find out where they are with their knowledge and then begin from there. When it comes to math I have found that most people who have trouble with math have simply missed some fundamental along the way.
