My comments on tutoring Social Studies : Social Studies is such an important topic for students today. I have found that with social studies, there are so many fun and interesting ways to tutor this subject. Each one of my students will receive this treatment and will have a fun experience.

I have a very Hands-On Teaching Style
I have been working with children for the past seven years. Four of those years have included homeschooling pre-school and pre-kindergarten as well as homework help and tutoring the children that I was babysitting. I love tutoring because it allows me to work one-on-one with my students. Tutoring, also, allows me the opportunity to create the ultimate tutoring experience based off of the students learning style and interest. The students that I conducted homework help and tutoring with were within grades 2nd through 6th. I conducted my Student Teaching in a first grade classroom and loved every minute of it.

A Little Bit About Me...

At the start of my college career, I began tutoring for Calculus. I received an offer from a Professor at Lafayette who had heard about me. She and her husband had two children who were accellerated two years above their classmates. I tutored both children once or twice a week in both of their respective mathematics courses as well.
I love working with people, especially children. I have been a Crew Trainer at each job I've had because of my ability to relate, connect and teach others. I am very patient and easy-going.
