I tutored hundred students at all levels: begimmers, intermediate and advanced learners. Most of them improved their skills. I adapt to the learner's needs with patience and try to personalize my teaching methods and contents.Although grammar is important, I focus on Reading and Speaking and the used materials are mainly the ones familiar to each learner. I concurrently teach Dual-Credit Humanities and English Honors classes at Lakeview Centennial, the Garland ISD Collegiate and Career Magnet High School.I have also taught subjects as varied as remedial Reading, Practical Writing, Journalism, Psychology, and Sociology. Involved in curriculum development as a Lead Instructor for the Writer's Garret Writers In The Schools Program for the Dallas ISD, grades 2-7.
