My comments on tutoring Creative Arts : any crafts you can think of from basic pottery and wood carving to creating wreaths for all occasions, cake making/decorating, flower arranging,creating center pieces, float designing/decorating, etc...

I would describe my teaching style as dynamic, creative student-centered
I've either taught or tutored in some form or fashion for over 17yrs now. I've had ages 3yrs to 22yrs old covering all manner of subjects and hobbies. One of my most rewarding experience was with an 18 year old special needs 10th grader ready to drop out of school. We met 2-3x a week for 6mths. In that time he raised his GPA from 1.2 to 2.7. He completed his 10th grade year and went on to take and pass the G.E.D. the following year.

I spent six years in college studying a variety of subjects. Overall I did very well for myself. I have a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Art. The Emphasis is Graphic Design with a History minor. I am aware that it is a mouthful, but I wanted the history minor because I always have and always will love history.
