Tutoring has taught me that perseverance and patience are the keys to tackling tough situations, and I try to pass that along to others. I am very versatile when it comes to teaching various age groups. I try to keep my sessions exciting, but focused and instructional. I teach to each to the unique style of the individual student and when instructing a medium to large group, I adjust to the majority learning style;moreover,"no student is left behind."

I have been driven to excel in college and in my career in logistics. I've graduated from two of the top universities in the US, and retired from the USAF as a Major. I'm also a graduate of Air War College. I've traveled the world as an instructor navigator and defense contractor, learning about many cultures and religions. In addition to Spanish, I also speak Turkish. I also owned my own logistics services business, winning a contract with the USAF.
My technique in teaching navigation was to expose the student to the underlying physics of dead reaconing and celestial object movement. Then we would put the theory into practice in the air. I strove to always give positive feedback and encouragement.

I enjoy teaching children of all ages. Learning can be fun as long as you can relate it to something that the child is interested in. Gaining the knowledge that is taught in middle school and high school only helps the child to further education. I believe learning should be fun and enjoyable. I obtained my Associates of Science Degree in Biology at Macon State College completing courses in Anatomy and Physiology, Biology, Chemistry, Organic Chemistry and Calculus. I then completed my Bachelors of Science Degree in Biology at Valdosta State University.
