I believe that all children learn differently. Some children need more of a hands on approach while others are more visual and still others learn just by memorizing facts. The summer after my 8th grade year was my first experience teaching. It was there that I facilitated the younger children's use of the computer facilities during a summer reading program. After that I tutored Math, Earth Science, Physics, and Philosophy to other undergrads at my college's Learning Center.
