Working in education since 2006 with ages 6 weeks to 18 years. I have student teaching experience from kindergarten thru 12th grade. I have substitute taught for kindergarten thru 12th grade as well. I have been enlisted in the Illinois Army National Guard since June 2012, and am currently enrolled in the Officer Candidate Program. I am currently a graduate student in a Clinical Counseling Program. I graduated with my Bachelor's Degree in Psychology in 2002 with a 3.89 GPA, my current graduate GPA is 4.0. I have previously worked as a Substitute Teacher and Remedial Reading Tutor for fifth and sixth graders while in college. I have worked as a Sunday School Teacher and Youth Pastor for teenagers. Through another employer, I worked closely with two students to improve grade performance in writing and math. A Little Bit About Me...

I have earned a BSE from Missouri Baptist University in education and hold a valid Missouri Teaching Certificate. My training at Missouri Baptist University has been supplemented with observations, field experiences, and student teaching which I completed at Kingston Elementary, Vineland Elementary, and Athena Elementary. I have also earned two associate degrees; AA in Education from Jefferson College and an AS in Interior Design from Patricia Stevens College. During the last two years I have been a substitute teacher for the Desoto School District and the Affton School District. I just recently completed a long term substitute position at Affton High School in Geometry and Algebra classes.
