A Little Bit About Me...

I was working as a math tutor during my college years. I was tutoring Calculus, Pre-Calculus, and Algebra. I was graduated from UC Davis, and I am planing to attend a medical school. Even though, my major was biology, I enjoyed my math classes, and decide to teach math to other students. I would grantee my students to improve a whole grade after few weeks of tutoring. Although math is my favorite subject to teach, I am able to tutor most science subjects; such as biology, chemistry, and anatomy&physiology. I can speak, read, and write in Farsi as well.

I have been working as a Bilingual Teaching Associate in a public school in California since April 1998. I have been helping bilingual students K through six grades to reach their academic goals since then. My favorite subjects are Science and Math. I have a BS degree from Kabul University in Geology, and I used to work as a geologist for the Geological Survey of Afghanistan from 1974 through 1980. Unfortunately, I had to leave my job due to invasion of Soviet Union to Afghanistan.

Although I have a bachelor's degree in Political Science, my favorite subject in school/college was Math and Algebra.
