I have worked with a huge diversity of students and I find that students remember, relate, connect and understand metaphors, examples, and models best. So I tell my students stories about what they see in the world around them, relating lessons to the news, and showing examples that are so cool they cannot be forgotten! A Little Bit About Me...

I have successfully completed a Beacon tutor course in preparation for individual and group tutor sessions. I led a semester long Beacon tutoring supplement course in Organic Chemistry that supported 20 junior college students. I have effectively tutored/mentored a number of high school students in general education coursework, organizational skills, and in preparation for exit examinations. I have conducted community based math group sessions for junior high and high school students.
