A Little Bit About Me...

My teaching style with students of all ages is to facilitate their learning as opposed to simply feeding them what I feel is the best response. Students learning is maximized when they can take ownership of and pride in their work. I am very patient. Recognizing that all students learn differently, I seek to ascertain their learning styles and then adjust my tutoring style to that learning style.
I taught and tutored ESL two years before entering law school. I hae taught college classes as an adjunct and later FT professor at Penn College for 25 years. I currently serve as Career Outreach Coordinator for HACC-Lebanon Campus. I have tutored many students, particularly in areas such as writing essays. I also served as a reader for the SAT Writing section, so I am familiar with what they are seeking. I am very proficient in grammar and structure.

I have an Associate Degree in Specialized Technology, other wise known as Digital Arts. I made Wedding videos, Websites, and I work as a Graphic Artist at CBS 21. I enjoy helping people anyway I can! I grew up working for my parents in their lawnmower shop and I still help them out even to this day. When I got Diagnosed with burkitt's lymphoma at the age of sixteen, it made me want to help people who just were motivated or just thought they're not good enough. I will do my best to help anyone!

Some individuals learn by performing tasks, while others learn by reading or hearing the material to be learned.
