I have a natural passion for educating youth of all ages and find joy in helping them succeed. No child is unreachable when it comes to connecting with them. Math is one of the loves in my life. I get excited about doing it, learning more about it, and helping others excel in mathematics. I think there is a good mix between helping too much, and helping too little. In my teaching/coaching/tutoring, I try and see what the students weaknesses are at first, and then try and help them work on those areas. In math, it is critical to know the basics, because like some other subjects, math builds and builds. The concepts learned in elementary (addition, subtraction, etc), are used in more complex forms the rest of one's life. So for each stepping stone in math, it is critical to understand the basics, and move on from there. This is how I will try and teach students to help them achieve in mathematics.
