I contact the student to know what subjects they need. I go to their home and meet them and their parents. I agree with them a schedule or they let me know when they need my help. I go to their house the agreed day and check what he/she knows about the subject to study. I assign to them different exercises like a pre-test. Every problem that they make wrong indicates to me that I need to explain that class. I don't go ahead until the student understands completely. I assign to them different exercises in order to see is they improve their knownledges. If the student want, we can study by a chat, when it is neccesary and they can send me the homework to review.

I have always approached a teaching lesson as a learning opportunity. Learning is a fundamental skill. If you don't have your basic fundamentals, your student will have difficulty advancing.
