As a Biology student at both Saddleback and the ultra competitive UCLA, I was able to achieve high marks in all of the core cirriculum. Subjects I am very familar with are physics, chemistry, math up to 1st semester calculus, biology and biochem.I also recieved an A in every english class I have ever attended. I have experience tutoring at Saddleback Community College in Mission Viejo Ca., mostly in math.
I enjoy working with kids and teaching the things that I have learned. I am confident that I can make concepts as simple as possible, so people who usually have trouble understanding ideas in math and science may have a breakthough. A Little Bit About Me...

I like to use the book as an outline of the material to be taught. Visual aids are very important to me. I believe pictures are worth a thousand words. I am very patient and great with communicating ideas to others.
While a student, I was a teachers assistant in a chemistry lab at my college. During school, I spent numerous hours studying with large groups of students. Together we practiced methods for teaching our knowledge, this way everyone in the group understood the material.

I have been a tutor in biology and anthropology since 1998 at the college level. I have been teaching in both areas since 2003 part time at various community colleges. I am also certified as a substitute teacher in NV and hold a license to teach biology in grades 7-12.
I use a variety of aides - lecture, video, images, models, hands on and so forth to address several types of learning. I have a real passion for teaching and hold several awards voted for by students.
