As an undergraduate at Penn State, I became interested in education through positive experiences with my own teachers. At this time, I was an active high school volleyball coach, an environmental science teaching assistant, and an environmental science camp counselor. Earning a BS in Biology grounded my content knowledge in both Biology and Science and propelled my education in writing, lab experience, field experience, and technology. Furthermore, I enrolled at King's College to solidify my knowledge of teaching and education and received PA Certification in Secondary Biology.
