My comments on tutoring Writing Skills : I have taken many English and literature lectures in the past that required 8 or more length papers.I also write short fictions and still contribute them to free sites available to the public.

I teach or Tutor accordingly to the age group I'm with.I have been in many tutor groups and shared with in the work. But I always take my time and ensure that the person knows what is being taught before moving on to the next material.
I went to college and obtained a degree in Fine Arts ,I've had many paintings and works shown in the galleries . But my main reasoning for going to college was not to learn how to but to become better and merge my self in the depths of art. My comments on tutoring Writing Skills : I am NYS certified in Literacy (grades 5-12) and English (grades 7-12), although I have several years of experience with children as young as Kindergarten.

Holding active NYS certifications in both English and Literacy has had a tremendous impact on the way I teach. I find myself much better able to engage struggling students. Quite often, particularly when it comes to reading, it is the lack of basic comprehension skills that prevent students from being able to fully engage with a text and to perform critical thinking tasks.
