My comments on tutoring German : I am working part time as German instructor with a global Language School.

I work full time for a German company where I am responsible for translation of product documentation from English to German and vice verse. I am a native German speaker, only immigrated to the US in 1997. As a 2nd job I teach German at a global language school. Since I came to the US I have translated a number of documents for individuals and small businesses. In addition I edit documents for a German translation and documentation company.
Immersion. My style is German only. The student will receive 3 lifelines in a lesson where he/she can ask a question in English, but 95% of the lesson is in German.

A Little Bit About Me...

I have a long-standing practice of teaching of Russian non-Russian students. It should be noted that the Russian language - is my native language. I was born and raised in Central Asia, where they speak Russian zyke without accents. This speech became my speech. I also had a job as an editor and presenter of television broadcasts in Russian. For explanations I use sketches, words, general rules and theorems (from your script), colors, formulas, examples and in the end the task explains itself through its solution and its interpretation in the factual context and its validation. A Little Bit About Me...

Have taught a total of nine years in elementary and middle school while raising my three children. It was during this time I discovered two of my three children were diagnosed with special needs. This prompted me to return to school where I obtain my Master's certificate in teaching students with disabilities.
