My classrooms involve learning-centered groups in a workshop approach. I find that students are encouraged by the examples of other writers and learners at their own levels. I graduated from UW-Stevens Point with a degree in a Communication and a passion for enriching the youth in our community. Throughout my educational career I was always involved with a youth organization as either a Big Sister, basketball coach or a junior achievement volunteer. During my study towards at BS in Chemistry I published a paper with a professor doing electrochemical research. I currently work at a small manufacturing company where I purchase raw materials, formulate products, supervise the manufacturing process and check the quality of the end product. Through my studies and work I have learned to apply analytical thinking to real world problems for results.
