A Little Bit About Me...

I have recently graduated from the University of Idaho with a degree in Elementary Education. I have had many years caring for children and have three years experience tutoring/teaching children. From these experiences I have been able to grow as a teacher and therefore help my students grow and learn more in depth concepts.
I believe all children can learn but they each need to learn in a way that fits them. I feel that I can provide each child with the necessary curriculum knowledge in a fun and engaging way. I believe that through discovery leaning each subject is made unique and interesting and children are more likely to walk away feeling engaged, proud of their work, and excited. I firmly believe that a good education must be adaptable, flexible, and incorporate a variety of learning styles if it is to be of maximum benefit to students. When teaching, I speak with my students about the kinds of activities they feel assist them most in retaining information as well as observing their learning style independently. It took incredible persistence and commitment to completed my degree and maintain an exceptional level of performance on the job.
