If I know how the instructor teaches the lesson I try to duplicate it. The child is already having a hard time and I don’t want to compound the complicated by teaching a different way. But, then sometimes I need to start from scratch. Again, I try to build on whatever the child is already comfortable with. I tend to be interactive and like lots of feedback.
