Desiring to continue to teach, I finished a Master's degree which gave me the endorsements to teach K-12 children with special needs. In this approach, students who find writing challenging often discover that an emphasis on writing freely and creatively along with a focus on critical thinking skills, is the fastest way to improved written content and technique.
I offer 16 years of English writing instructional experience. I have taught a diverse range of students, both in terms of abilities and cultural backgrounds. During high school I interned in a first grade classroom for one year in which I planmed/taught lessons. I also have young siblings and family members which I help with assignments on a daily basis.
