I love to work with children who are eager to learn. I know that for most children having to study is not their top priority, so I try to make it fun. I am patient, and know that learning often takes repetition. I believe that most children have the power to learn, some just need some one on one attention. I have just recently graduated with my Masters from Ole Miss. I will begin my PhD in the fall. I have taught Health classes at the University for the past two years. Learning style vary from child to child, such as visual, auditory and kinesthetic. Each child has the potential to learn in different ways. The best proof of how well a teacher teaches is how well a child learns and retains the information. I have been able, since my graduate degree, to not only practice chiropractic, but also teach on the collegiate and high school levels. My teaching style varies based on the age of the student. I like to be a little more animated with my k-6 graders. On the other hand, with my 7-12 graders I focus more so on making a connection with the material--showing them how it relates to them.
