I help students go through their books and synthesize material and help students write papers and come up with proper conclusions and introductions to his or her paper.
I tutored in my last semester of college at Westfield State University. I have taken 122 credits in psychology. My psychology G.P.A. average is 3.74 and my overall average is 3.551. A Little Bit About Me...

I greatly enjoy finding a way to inspire a child to understand the problem at hand. Through from my experience in grade school and my observation of students that attend tough schools I've realized the monotonous class schedule and disciplinary philosophy of most schools deflates most student's desire to succeed. Teaching Style- That is an interesting question- since there are so many schools with so many different teaching methods I would like to see how the student was shown the particular method for "attack". It would also be helpful to compare that to the textbook directions; from there I will be able to develop a plan based on the topic and the individual student. I have had to recreate lessons for my son for years in order to develop a style that he understands. The student may have an idea for creatively learning this topic- I am always open to suggestions.

I am a life-long learner, having earned my BA after enjoying two successful careers. I was a reporter for 10 years, then went to the corporate world. When I was downsized five years ago I ventured into other areas including teaching.
I like to teach with a light touch. As a parent I have nurtured teenagers through challenging times. My experience has taught me that most kids only want to study those subjects that interest them. Unfortunately, they have to study even their least favorite subjects.
