Because I enjoy the learning environment and have been in one for 16 years, I have learned much about it. A Little Bit About Me...

In January of 2008, I was hired to work at the University of Akron – Wayne College Learning Center as a peer tutor. We are responsible for helping students that come in seeking tutoring (including test preparation and homework help). Over the past two plus years, I have tutored students in mathematics (college level basic math 1 through calculus one) and chemistry. Over the past three and a half years, I have been working towards a degree in Chemical Engineering so I have familiarity with math through multivariable calculus (called Calculus three on our campus) as well as differential equations and chemistry: inorganic chemistry, biochemistry, and organic chemistry.

I would to teach math because I have been applying math my entire life. I have a four year degree in mechanical engineering technology. I have used math extensively in my everyday job. I love working with children, and feel that I can relate to them because I struggled in my early school years. I developed courses for training teachers in the use of New Technologies in Teaching. I worked as a freelance consultant for several schools in Mexico City, Israel and Panama.
