A Little Bit About Me...

During my undergraduate career I discovered my passion for teaching. I also discovered that being an educator in the sciences is particularly tricky because it deals with some of the most abstract information with seemingly little real world application. Most people struggle with the sciences and, in their frustration, often give up. My philosophy for teaching has always been to do whatever it takes to keep my students interested and engaged. This usually involves a lot of class participation as well as being creative with my lessons.
