I focus on finding what works with individual children.

I began teaching in 2001 in Caddo Parish. I have taught Pre-K, Kindergarten, First Grade and Second Grade. I have also tutored kindergarten-4th grade students in my home for 10 years. I'm currently at Arthur Circle in Shreveport, La. I have two daughters who are 11 and 13, who are in the Gateway Program at Caddo Middle Magnet. I have worked hard with them on all areas of study since they were very young. I've taught my students and my daughters the best ways to study, how to comprehend what they are learning about, and I encourage them to always ask questions.

Spanish is one of my top subjects!

Hello! I am a Spanish teacher eager to provide additional help to students in the Shreveport/Bossier area. Although I received formal Spanish education throughout my high school and college, I lived in many Spanish-speaking countries to further my language skills. I have worked my entire life towards being a teacher, and now that I have achieved my goal, I am eager to educate and inspire the upcoming generation to become intelligent, and upstanding members of our community.
