As a seminary student, I gained a deeper respect for the education process and a greater passion for teaching students. During my time at what is now Lincoln Christian University, I gained a respect for the written word as well as a significant knowledge and usage of the English language. For the MA degree that I completed, I gained a working knowledge of grammar and research skills due to writing research papers and a final extensive thesis. I am very passionate about teaching. I am a very hands-on type of teacher that really likes to get the student involved in their learning. I like to set goals for learning, but also find it important for students to set their own goals as well. I believe that all children can learn, no matter what. It is just my job as a teacher to be able to help figure out their best way to learn as well as bring those resources to that student for their success.
