I am a recent graduate from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, with a BS in Business Administration - International Business and a focus in Chinese. Because this program is relatively new, a degree in International Business required multiple Finance courses, which allowed me to learn many advanced statistical and mathematical concepts. In these classes, I often assumed an informal tutor role and helped my fellow students understand difficult points. My greatest joy as a tutor and professor is to witness the "Ah-ha" moment when the light bulb comes on and the student puts the pieces together and comes to understand the topic, and, perhaps more importantly, understands the significance or ramifications of the topic in relation to other topics or disciplines.
