A Little Bit About Me...

As a Wesleyan graduate, I was interested in curriculum and Graphics and found myself working shortly there after in a youth-centered non-profit doing design work. I have several degrees and a teaching certification in Art. I have learned a great deal about designing and working with youth. I have worked with youth programs through the years and tutored in many subjects and most recently taught art in the public schools.
I like inspiring young people and believe that they will rise to your expectations. I am flexible, friendly and creative. Since I love working and teaching with all children, I have found many of my out-of-the classroom responsibilities to be just as rewarding as teaching in the classroom. I have been invovled with Math tutoring programs at the middle school level, homework help times before and after-school, and one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions.
