I worked as a tutor all through college at Iowa State University. I tutored Math (up through Trig), general and organic chemistry, and statistics 101. These were the main classes I taught, but I also did Spanish 1, ecology, and food science/nutrition. I also tutored some high school students in all subjects but mostly math and science.
I love helping people. I believe that no one is stupid just some people are better in some areas than other people. I enjoy helping people learn because I love seeing the "light bulb click on above their head" when they finally grasp a concept. I try to simplify the subject (or put it in terms the student will grasp) so the student will understand it, thus my teaching method depends on how the student learns.

A Little Bit About Me...

I am a recent graduate from Metropolitan State College of Denver with a B.S. in biology and a minor in environmental sciences. This degree has given me a vast knowledge of many different scientific fields. Currently I am seeking my teaching certificate in secondary education.
