My comments on tutoring Spanish : I am a Colombian lawyer. I am a Spanish native speaker. I have two kids ( a girl, 13 years old, and an boy 15 years old). They can speak Spanish fluently, and also they can read and write in Spanish.

I have a deep and strong knowledge of academic Spanish, both speaking and writing communications skills. In addition to be a native Spanish speaker, I am a Colombian lawyer with a wide and diverse background with a much to offer to the Spanish's students. Over all, my best experience has been teaching Spanish to my own kids. They are full Spanish speakers. I speak fluent Spanish. I'm a native of Lima, Peru and Spanish is my native language. I've also lived in Madrid, Spain. I was there for six years from 2003-2009 where Spanish was spoken everywhere all the time. While I lived in Milwaukee, Wisconsin I tutored two students who were at different levels of Spanish. One was just a beginning to learn the language and the other was at the advanced level of learning the language. I'm tutoring a student at this time.

A Little Bit About Me...

Working with kids is my fascination. I believe that teaching children should not be standing up and lecturing or simply explaining something. Its about getting to know the students, making the students feel important and unique in their own special way and most importantly I believe a teacher should be a role model. The teacher must adjust his or her teaching approach to the way the student will learn what’s being taught to them not the other way around.
