Struggling with Math/Science? Local Scientist Offering Help.

Most of my experience stems from my Bachelor of Arts degree at Wartburg College, Waverly, IA. As a Biology major, I have a good background in Life Sciences and Math. I have several study techniques that helped me succeed in college, as well as my current career as a Scientist Integrated DNA technologies in Coralville, IA. Some of my past experiences include working at a summer camp for two years as well as two years in an Emergency Room at a small hospital. I have earned two MS degrees and a BS degree in chemistry in my academic career. I have two-and-a-half year experience of teaching undergraduate students at the University of Iowa. I received a very good evaluation from students which I would be happy to share with you. I have also passed SPEAK TEST along with the English Language Performance Test which is a requirement to be able to teach at the University of Iowa.
From my teaching experience at the University of Iowa, I think that the level of understanding of the subject varies from student to student. Some students grasp the subject easily while it is hard for others. Because of my elementary background, it is safe to say I am a very patient person and I use that skill in my ability. I allow the children to create their own paths and when there are roadblocks we work together to find a solution. I am not in the habit of giving students the answers. A Little Bit About Me...

I always believed that all the children are smart and can learn difficult things. For them to do that all they need is a good teacher who can develop their interest in the subject, which will ultimately result in their success. I was successful in doing that with my brother and my cousin and today they both work in IT companies and Software engineers.
