I always adapt my teaching style to fit the student. I am willing to do just about anything to help a student learn a subject, so long as that student is as dedicated to learning it as I am to teaching it. It takes two people working together in order to have a sucessful tutoring session.

I very much enjoy teaching in a setting where the students feel comfortable enough to both learn and express themselves. I always find a higher success rate in the understanding and comprehension of the subject at hand under these circumstances. I have been involved in a lot of activities and feel the best way to teach is to relate to the student. As a tutor, I have worked with many different types of students and I found a way to relate the information to something they were interested in. I believe all students are capable of learning the material; it just has to be presented in a way they understand.
I received my BS degree in 2007 in pre-medicine. I majored in pre-professional zoology and I have a minor in biochemistry. I also worked at the Talent Development Center as a tutor for biology, botany, chemistry and biochemistry.
