A Little Bit About Me...

I have a passion for teaching. I TA'd an intro to Bio course and have experience tutoring many students for well over seven years. I am still a student myself, so I understand the value of tutoring. Since I was in high school I have been teaching my sisters to get their way around with Science/Math/English. I realized my understanding more towards this subjects as I went teaching Students through out my Under graduation. I got admitted in Rochester Institute of Technology, NY as masters student along with teaching assistance. My public speaking class is extremely participatory, both so students can gain experience speaking in front of an audience and because this format seems to keep students more interested in the material. My experience teaching children in theatre was also very participatory. I believe that students learn best when they can understand a given concept from several different angles. I also believe that each student is different and that any teacher must tailor her lessons to the individual student's needs. This is especially true of one-on-one tutoring sessions.
