I believe as an educator you have to understand the topic you are teaching and the students your are teaching. I have a Bachelor of Arts from Susquehanna University and an Elementary Teaching Certificate from Bucknell University. Most recently I was an educational liaison in an alternative classroom in the Pocono Mountain School District. I worked for a technology company providing online curriculum for the students. While in the classroom, I tutored the students in all subject areas where they had difficulty, but specifically concentrating on tutoring the math courses. I just completed a graduate course on using technology in the classroom, and also courses on Reading Strategies and Graphic Organizers to help students be more successful in their studies.
