I have more than 5 years experience as a substitute teacher at almost every level. I have had the opportunity to also serve as a long term substitute teacher. I also have 1 year of experience teaching at a pre-school level, 2.5 years teaching at a post-secondary level, and a semester of tutoring a middle school student. A Little Bit About Me...

While I was attending college, I was a tutor for the following classes: Accounting, Finance, and Algebra. I am an excellent student and have a full knowledge of accounting and math that can be applied in the classroom as well as a "real world" experience. In addition to supervising and training other employees within my employers accounting department, I have also had the privilege of being in charge of staffing an intern who complimented me frequently on my competence and ability to instruct in a professional manner that was easily understood and easy to follow. A Little Bit About Me...

I have always loved school and learning and try to learn new things every day. After I graduated from high school I regretted the fact that I hadn't done better in math. I promised myself that someday I would go back to school and learn these skills; I accomplished this in 2005. I was very active in my children's classrooms as a parent volunteer/tutor(1:1 and group tutor- all subjects)- huge success. I have volunteered for both summer camps (at local science museum) and at vacation bible school programs. I worked at a daycare for 2 years working with a 2 year old class, then worked as a preschool teacher for another year and a half. I have also worked as a Latin tutor, both for a semester as a teaching assistant to a high school class, and periodically with individual students while in college. Currently I am working on helping develop a summer science camp course at a local museum.
